Ian Hurst and Tom Watson.

The Deputy leader of the Labour party was “too busy” to meet Ian (Lidl version of Walter Mitty) Hurst when the self professed expert on “Stakeknife” was in London. Hurst and a small bald chubster who was his “minder” headed to the High Courts Chancery Division (Rolls Building, Fetter’s Lane) to put some finishing touches to Hurst’s statement of claim.

Times are hard for our Boltonian, National Express beckoned as plod played hard ball and Tom Watson woke up to just how damaging an upcoming expose is going to be.
