Vikram Dodd, the Guardian and the Daniel Morgan Independent Panel.

Where to begin with the inaccuracies? Ought Dodd to work for North Wales Police? His latest article borders on farce.

“Allegedly” Morgan was going to go public on police corruption. Not true, Bryan Madagan, Morgan’s erstwhile boss before “Southern Investigation” mentioned that Morgan often had fantastical ideas. Initially the rumour was that Morgan had inside knowledge concerning an overtime scam, not some million pound drugs importation.

The two most plausible theories surrounding the reason for his murder would be either adultery (he was an enthusiastic cuckold, whose marriage was on the rocks) or a link to Maltese drug dealers (not Miami vice, as a paid police perjurer stated recently).

Paragraph Three of Dodd’s piece alludes to Rees and others (Garry and Glenn Vian) versus the Metropolitan Police, the biggest civil case in UK legal history. With a £4 million pay out looming, Cressida Dick is calling upon her pal Dodd to help out. Likewise Dodd skates around Sid Fillery. Fillery had no appreciable role with the defunct “News of the world”.

“One police source” connects Alan “Taffy” Holmes death to the Morgan murder. Indeed it is the same source that erroneously stated Morgan knew about “Cranski, Kranski and the Miami drugs deal” none other than Derek G Haslam of Downham Market, who boasted how close he is to Dodd. Holmes committed suicide after being put under enormous pressure from Haslam.
