Time for an open letter to the higher echelons of New Scotland Yard?
“It is not right to make any comment about the murder of Daniel without recognising that over the last thirty years Daniel’s family has fought tirelessly to seek justice for him. No one has ever been convicted of his murder, nor have they stood trial. Daniel and his family have not had justice.
The above quote from Asst Comm Martin Hewitt omits that the Daniel Morgan campaign had an infiltrator and saboteur within it for many years.
The non arrest and non charging of the saboteur and his bosses, the inaction over charging ex Det Ch Supt Dave Cook, added to the Clown Prosecution Service feet dragging are now known of abroad. The role of “Plebgate” Mitting also needs a detailed examination.
Many laws yet little justice.
