This blogge wishes to state, uncategorically, that Paul Auger is totally innocent. Why did I publish the unredacted “Operation Tiberius” report? Primarily to show that the Metropolitan Police get it spectacularly wrong. “Intelligence” is divided into four sections, A,B,C and you’ve guessed it, D. These categories are little more than pub gossip. My own PNC entry has “keyboard warrior” and “dangerous and violent prisoner” (go figure).
Another reason for publishing is to bring pressure on New Scotland Yard to arrest ex Det Ch Supt Dave Cook and ex Det Con Derek G Haslam, plus others involved in trying to fit up Jonathan Rees, the Vian Brothers and others. Also, “Special Agent Sybil Fawlty” passed the report on to me, well, Sybil, it is the least I can do.
Finally, if the Met are worried about the leak all I can say is “Nothing to hide? Nothing to fear!” It cuts both ways Cressida. Muy bien.
