Bulmer’s art theft – Avon & Somerset Police and Insp Clouseau.

Not content with spending £140 million (plus £414K) on either trying to fit up Jonathan Rees et al, or pay compensation, plod have now decided to roll the dice again, oh well, it is only tax payers money. The original trial for the Bulmer’s art theft fell apart due to Old Bill’s incompetence, this now seems to be raising it’s head once more.

Did Avon and Somerset Police want all the glory and kudos for recovering stolen art for themselves? It certainly appears so. Elements of the arrests of suspects are so bad that they will undoubtedly come under close scrutiny soon. That, plus the hopeful log jam regarding aspects of the Kim James case next month ensure a perfect storm for the police and a real chance at wrapping up the Daniel Morgan murder cover up by New Scotland Yard.

  1. Fred Bassett says:

Ciaran, keep the pressure on, you have good solid sources? Well done, did you watch 66 days, Bobby Sands, Fintan the bluffer O Toole made a complete Clown of himself, if that is possible?

    • I can’t put full sources in the public domain just yet (why should I give free copy to Private Eye?) As for O’Toole just when one thinks he can’t go any lower – he does. He is to stupidity what Superman is to man.
