Stephen Mooney was the architect of a dismal farce, that of the failed prosecution of Jonathan Rees and others in the Bulmer’s art theft. Mooney’s actions resulted in £1.5 million of taxpayer’s money being squandered in an unwinnable case. Mooney pursued a vendetta against Mr Rees and his legal team, ably propped up by the CPS. It is odd that arrests have not been made concerning the illegality of the police and others connected to them.

The grimy streets of Peckham were the back drop to the recovery of multi million pound art works.
