Considering that the Metropolitan Police wasted in excess of £140 million on several abortive attempts to frame innocent men in the Daniel Morgan murder ought the tax payer not be surprised that New Scotland Yard are being profligate over the long overdue panel report? Indeed, how “independent” can the panel be when Baroness Nuala O’Loan has such close links to Det Ch Supt David Wood plus others? Not very it seems.
