The excellent “Phoenix” magazine has an article on page 6.
Are the “security forces” trying to obfuscate by using Francisco Notarantonio’s murder to deflect from the role played by agent Freddie Scappaticci? The article mentions the 1993 interview on the “Cook report” by Sylvia Jones. Regular readers will recall she assisted in unmasking New Scotland Yard’s role in the Daniel Morgan murder cover up, in addition to the miscarriage of justice surrounding the £140 million cost of trying to frame Jonathan Rees and the Vian Brothers.
In 1993 Scappaticci (Stakeknife) was peddling his wares, hoping to extricate himself from a moon bat theory that Martin McGuinness was an MI5/6 agent. At the same time Ian Hurst (a Bolton Lidl’s version of Walter Mitty) was muddying the waters surrounding the assassination of Eddie Fullerton by the UVF/UFF who were ably assisted by the RUC (PSNI) and Garda Siochana (Geisha Sayonara).
One hopes that legal maven, Michael Brentnall, can swiftly get to the bottom of this.
