Two news stories caught my attention today, they link tangentally to the Daniel Morgan murder cover up, both evincing police corruption.
Commander Ray Adams had ex Det Con Derek G Haslam blocked from a lucrative job with British Telecom, Adams told B.T of Haslam stealing an unmarked police vehicle and killing a pedestrian whilst drunk (sixty pound fine at Horseferry Magistrates, 1977). After Haslam feigned mental illness and quit (had to quit) the Metropolitan police, following his role in pressuring Alan “Taffy” Holmes to commit suicide, the half Jamaican Haslam obtained a job as a spy/cctv operator with Cambridgeshire Constabulary. From here he was able to infiltrate and sabotage the SHAC campaign. Much as he did with Operation Abelard II. Haslam is now living in the Downham Market area, where his son P.C Jamie Haslam owns property, animal rights activists are keen to meet with him.
To Rochdale, where Greater Manchester Police (who employed Insp Brian Sheeran of “Bullshire” infamy) busily covered up Cyril Smith’s indiscretions. G.M.P also keep a watch on Ian Hurst of Bolton (and St Nexans). Chief Constable Simon Bailey is the ACPO lead on child abuse. He is also a “worshipful brother” in the same lodge as the Haslams. Haslam senior has a large stash of “artistic poses” of young boys and girls. Why the inaction by Bailey?
Why aren’t plod paying what they owe in compensation?
