It is with ill disguised glee that I watched Tom Watson’s fall from grace. “Newsnight” had Harvey Proctor on (he gave an excellent account of Operation Midland and proven liar Carl Beech). Also some retired plod, Sutherland, squirming for his few quid and fleeting moment of fame.
Watson and his shill Peter “the Armenian Shakespeare” Jukes, were key players in attempting to torpedo Jonathan Rees and the Vian Brothers being repeatedly found innocent of any part in the Daniel Morgan murder. Ably backed up by finances from New Scotland Yard and Max “Spanky” Mosley, Watson and Jukes were cheer leaders for disgraced ex Det Ch Supt Dave Cook. Such a pity that the Law Lords did not agree.
Oh well, it does take Watson’s mind from the leaking of certain texts to a nubile young staffer in West Bromwich. “It isn’t me that will be hurt but the party”. I keep being asked about Sasha Wass, Q.C. She is bent. Remember, Old Bill, compensation – pay what you owe, or else.
