This may be the last quiet weekend I have for a while, before a major break in the Daniel Morgan Murder cover up. So, I shall devote it to an analysis of the murkier goings on, at New Scotland Yard.
John Alford was had up by a fake sheikh, however, if Alford had not insisted that he could purchase hard drugs for a fictional Arab royal (who could not speak Arabic, always a warning sign, Johnny) then Alford would never have been trapped.
Moving on to “Southern Investigations” and the Kim James case. The Thornton Heath office of Jonathan Rees had been bugged, in the aftermath of the Daniel Morgan murder cover up. Indications point to Metropolitan police constable Fintan Creaven as being the killer, but plod – being lazy – pointed the finger of accusation at Mr Rees. The bugging found no evidence of any involvement by either Jonathan Rees or any other “Southern” figure. Simon James wanted custody of his daughter, his request landed on the desk of “Southern”.
The voice of “Joe Poulton” is missing from tapes, and as Alford was entrapped, so were others. How far up the ladder of The Met did the venality go? Up to John Yates, certainly, plus others.
That is all for now, but a teaser – “Joe Poulton” and his son, P.C James Haslam, are in Norfolk, why no arrests? Indeed, why no arrest of a radical feminazi in Derbyshire? Something for “Byline” to write about. Finally for now – cryptic clues – Jacqui Hames. “Fairways cottage”. In addition to “Mike”. Don’t have nightmares, Clarkey.
