Steely eyed reporter Rebecca Pocklington is in line for the “Peter Jukes award for poor research”.

The 9.55 am update corrects her earlier error, Daniel Morgan was not in the police. He was never in the police, in addition, no serious source connects him to “Brinks Mat”.

Rebecca is on far more solid ground with the Solly Nahome murder. “Byline” will bury your reputation, Miss Pocklington, so handle with care.
