“Daily Record”, some errors with “Line of duty” and the Daniel Morgan murder.

Morganologists can puzzle over this from the “Daily Record”. Amanda Killelea and Sophie Law need to do more research.

A poor start to begin any article on the Daniel Morgan murder by quoting “Untold” by Jukes. Daniel Morgan was not “killed as he was investigating police corruption”. Morgan had a minor story on an overtime scam at Catford police station. Morgan’s murderer was in the Metropolitan Police, but the motive was either adultery, or a Maltese drugs deal that went wrong.

The cost of the inquiry is not £30 million but in excess of £140 million. The long delayed inquiry will be published in mid May but leaks point to a scathing condemnation of shoddy policing and fitting up innocent men, including Jonathan Rees of “Southern Investigations”.

The level or corruption reaches that of the Lee Balkwell murder and Essex Police.
