A quick blogge post, I am in a reflexive mood. Galileo knew he was right. Therefore the ignorant opinions and narrative of the Vatican did not worry him (though being burned to death at the stake did).
Jukes narrative (indeed, that of Alastair Morgan) is Daniel Morgan was murdered as he was about to uncover a massive police corruption case, involving a £100 million drugs shipment. Alas, the evidence, facts and proof do not line up.
The murderer was in the Metropolitan Police and New Scotland Yard tried everything to shift the blame on to Jonathan Rees, Morgan’s partner in “Southern Investigations”. Within 48 hours we should see what the O’Loan report makes of it. There will be heavy criticism of high ranking police, such as Bob Quick and ex Det Ch Supt Dave Cook. Jukes and his fellow travellers are focusing on News International. Say what one likes about Rupert Murdoch, it is impossible to see him with an axe in the “Golden Lion” car park.
Just as Galileo knew he was right, so does Goggzilla. Tuesday is going to be a win/win situation for this blawg. Will O’Loan ignore the suicide of Alan “Taffy” Holmes? Vindication is near.
