A quick post today, Phil asked me about Fintan Creaven (Z31). There are people, who, never in a million years, would contact the police, but are desperate to set the record straight. Since Baroness Nuala O’Loan quite rightly put the focus on Cressida Dick and New Scotland Yard intransigence over releasing documents connected with the Morgan murder, plus the subsequent embarrassment over the Metropolitan Police holding up the Morgan family quest for justice (along with Jonathan Rees, the Vian brothers and Sid Fillery’s quest for adequate compensation) the issue of who committed the murder -and why – takes centre stage.
We are promised a DNA analysis of Z31 (Fintan Creaven). All I can put in the public domain now is that the murderer was in the Metropolitan Police, that New Scotland Yard used Rees and others as fall guys and that the “massive corruption scandal” was based on a 2003 document that was a mere pot boiler for Peter (cough, cough) Jukes.
Now to “Operation Kenova” and squeaky bum time, not for PIRA but for Special Branch both sides of the border. One wonders how that translates into Farsi? Koon Midi.
