The London Assembly are onto the second part of examining the Morgan Independent Panel report, chaired by Baroness Nuala O’Loan. One may ignore the first ten minutes. Det Ch Supt Dave Cook is mentioned 18 minutes in. He crops up again 33 minutes in, he was concentrating on a book deal whilst (supposedly) being mentally ill and trying to fit up Jonathan Rees and others.
Operation Tiberius unredacted was leaked by Goggzilla, not Cook.
O’Loan finally nails the myth that free masonry played any significant part in the Morgan murder and subsequent fiascos. Jukes “theory” has now been totally torpedoed.
On a brief aside, a risible article from Mr Sales of the “Daily Mail”.
Kim James is mentioned but not the unsafe issues surrounding the “planting” of drugs. Also, Sales asks “Who was Morgan, why was he murdered?” He never answers the latter part (either adultery or a link to the Bonnici drugs cartel, Gozo).
The aptly named Commissioner Dick is at 1 hour 15 minutes in. She obfuscates until 1.50 then goes on about “tawdry” links between Catford police and “Southern”. De Menezes, Tomlinson, Everard, tawdry, much? Only in Britain could Dick not only get away with her actions, but be rewarded for them. Update coming later.
