I have been trying to work it out, up and down the corridor, who murdered Daniel Morgan, and why? P.C Fintan Creaven (Z31) and the pay for slaying. Now to suss out the motive. Adultery is one, Morgan was an enthusiastic cuckold. Or – and this keeps cropping up – the repossession of a land rover from Gozo. Not only that but the “Danny was worried” comments I keep getting from central players in the drama.
The Metropolitan Police hid ex P.C Fintan M Creaven’s part. Far better to fit up innocent men such as Jonathan Rees and the Vian brothers rather than catch the actual villain (shades of Jack The Ripper).
Finally, for today, the role of certain Labour party front benchers in ensuring the spotlight was on Jon Rees, notably, Tom Watson. Also, why and how did a serial fantasist, ex Det Con Haslam, shift attention from the real killer, infiltrate and subvert Operation Abelard II internally, in addition to sending all details of the Morgan family campaign for justice to New Scotland Yard, then try and blacken a high ranking police officer who was not involved in the case.
