Vicissitudes of power – the Home Secretary, anonymity and the Daniel Morgan murder.

The theatre was packed as the Rt Hon Suella Braverman entered half an hour late due to a “suspect package” near the venue. The meeting began with Nicola Richards asking the Home Secretary about her life and career. Opening question was a young female on about single sex spaces.

Microphone was then given to Goggzilla.

“Can you clarify, is your surname pronounced Braverman as in rhymes with favour or Braverman rhymes with carver?”

Home Sec “It is usually pronounced as Braverman, as in brave, I prefer Braverman as in Brah-verman”.

That over with and the ice broken, first question.

“In light of high profile cases such as Cliff Richard, Harvey Proctor and others, anonymity must be granted pre charging, you are in breach of current ECHR legislation, and would lose any case brought against the UK at Strasbourg, why hasn’t anonymity been accorded before any charges?”

The Home Sec then replied that the status quo was being looked at.

Second and final question – “With specific reference to the Daniel Morgan murder. Why has the been no arrest, thus far, of at least two policemen who committed criminal acts? Why hasn’t Jonathan Rees received adequate compensation for having his life ruined in the most inept police investigation in over sixty years?”

Home Sec – The Morgan case is ongoing and I cannot comment.

(It isn’t really ongoing, Z31 – ex P.C Fintan Creaven was the most likely murderer.) Goggzilla exited, being given evils by Suella’s Special Branch goons.
